Shoes Of The Season…

… and they could only come courtesy of Mr Alexander McQueen. His show, entitled Plato’s Atlantis was streamed live on SHOWstudio last night and amazingly not one model fell over while wearing these heeled cocoon creations from his Spring Summer 2010 collection. Check it out here.

JS 3 Tongue for Adidas A/W 09

Yes, this trainer has 3 tongues. I’m still torn between thinking it’s brilliant and hating it. That’s a good thing though, healthy. It’s the JS 3 Tongue and is part of the Adidas Originals by Originals Collection from American designer Jeremy Scott for Autumn/Winter 2009. Kanye West likes his work and, yeah, it’s growing on me.

Ashish for Topshop A/W 09

We first glimpsed these amazing animal print wedges during the Ashish show in February and press days have revealed that they make up part of the Topshop A/W 09 collection – which means they might be within an affordable price bracket and we can all have amazing shoes come this Autumn. The more dramatic the shoe – prints, studs, fabrics, the better.

You don’t look a day over 75….

Stalwart department store Selfridges is 100 years old. The British icon was actually founded in 1909 by an American, Gordon Selfridge. To celebrate its centenary, Selfridges has collaborated with a number of its designers and brands to create special products, including limited edition yellow and black colour-way trainers by Converse and stillettos by Christian Louboutin.

My favourite thing is the
Giles dress, pictured. However, it will set you back £500 and is only made to order. So I’m guessing they’re not going to make it for just anyone. I’ll be intrigued to see who we will see wearing it.
